Special Proceedings           Special Proceedings involve cases such as foreclosures, name changes, boundary line disputes, adoptions, partition proceedings, incompetency and guardianship proceedings.  These type actions involve substantial legal rights and obligations that may be forever lost if not asserted in a timely manner and in the proper form.  You should always have an attorney represent you in these cases.  The fee for filing a special proceeding is $88.00 except for a foreclosure action which is $150.00.
